Author's Notes: I wrote these a while back, and posted them to hp100 for the "constant vigilance" challenge, but I wanted to post them here, too, and have been waiting for a chance to do so, so here they are!
They're the same event just from the two points of view; the first is Harry on ghost!Draco, the second is ghost!Draco on Harry.

I see you haunt the halls of the Manor, cold and statuesque and just how you were in life. If only I knew some evil, you said, I would be able to love you. If I only understood what he did to you to make you the way you were, I would realize that you had no other choice, and I would love you, stay with you.
But the simple reason why I’m not with you is that I know too much evil; I don’t have a soul to linger in limbo in the cold places of your forsaken heart.

You see me haunt the halls of the Manor, bitter yet stately and so much like how I was in life. Sanctimonious as always, you had no idea what it was like to be one of us, love laying dead in our hearts and all compassion having long since dissipated. What could you possibly know of darkness?
I linger alone in the cold firmament, trapped betwixt a world of blue ice and fire. There’s a blaze deep in my eyes as you try to see inside me, and I know that I can't decide whether I’m frozen alive or burning.
