... Your talents at handling liquor fail to impress.

It looks like you're getting help, but if you want, I could seek you out and test a few solutions.

Seeking out is not required, simply send them along via this device and The Great Tiffany will evaluate your efforts!

Has anyone ever told you how it looks like even the most basic tricks will work on you given half a chance?

Quickly, what's the most likely result if you roll two six-sided dice?

Reply

hctiwelprup June 29 2010, 00:25:36 UTC
That they will land with one of the six sides facing up on each one.

glompwitch June 29 2010, 00:42:10 UTC
... And what is the most likely number of dots on the up-facing sides?

Reply

hctiwelprup June 29 2010, 00:46:12 UTC
Depends on who rolled them and what dice you used.

For example if the die had six dots on each face it would always come up six.

... Assuming a normal person, and normal dice with one, two, three, four, five, and six on each side, weighted close enough that which one comes up is random.

You know what I mean.

There's also the potential that the place it lands upon might not be even.

... I don't like breaking this out, but...

Just answer the question as intended!
