Drive Ins Rock
So I went to a Drive In Movie Theater tonight with a bunch of AIMers and it was fan-flippin'-tastic. haha. We saw Flight plan and Transporter 2 which were both pretty good movies except for the fact that Transporter 2 had some bad parts in it.
Well today guys and girls separately had a talk with one of the coordinators, Kris, who talked to us about purity. It was really almost funny in a way because a lot of the stuff that he was talking about in the purity talk I found that I did not struggle with anymore and I was just thinking to myself not to long ago about how I have grown so much over the best few years in purity and just in general in my knowledge, understanding, and practical application of the Bible to my life. I credit all my growth for Christ of course in the aspect of talking my out of the church that I had grown up into and placed me at Metro to completely change my life for the better and ultimately leading me to AIM. I mean in the beginning of starting to come to Metro I was highly opposed to change and to growth in myself just because I had fallen into a deep comfort zone at my old church, but since coming to Metro I know that I have broken many comfort zone and boundaries just going to class and participating, leading, and being a leader in the youth group. I thank God for letting me grow in such a way and I think all the people at Metro and especially all my peeps in the youth group that have traveled with me on my journey of growth and maturity in Christ Jesus our Lord and savior.
I think it's time to go to bed now because I have a full day ahead of me and I must rest for the work that God has planned and prepared for me to do in the coming days and till the end of my life.
