One thing that sorta bugged me is that every way I looked on my bingo card, there was a supernatural/alien/something-along those-lines prompt, like werewolves, telepathy, wings, etc. Not everyone is into fandoms that delve into these things, and while fanfiction allows for people to do what the canon never would, some people like to try to stick close enough to canon that they wouldn't, for example, turn someone from Glee into a werewolf, or have Sherlock Holmes grow wings...

If this is something you feel strongly about, I'll completely understand (I'm actually one of those people who doesnt mind messing with canon to such a degree), but I just thought I'd bring it up.

Out of the five bingo communities I participated in this was by far the best. The prompts IMO left a lot to the author to be interpeted and giving the opt out for prompts was fantastic, not everyone is triggered by "common" things. Having the challenges during amnesty kept us engaged in the community and not just something random that popped up on the flist here and there. Out of all of them I'll definitely be participating in this one come June.

I've replied in this part already, but: I'm really looking forward to round two! I really enjoy this comm. And I really appreciate that you have fandom tags; it's nice to be able to go back and looking for fandoms I like without having to sort through nearly 200 posts to find ones I might like. (-:

I agree with fenm's above comment. Something a few of the other comms lacked was tagging for fandom/prompts and it's made it easier to come back and find/re-squee over favorite stories. And also that some prompts are more liked (by me personally) than others and it's amazing to read how different authors interpet them.
