Losing steam

The springtime perking up of my mood and activity level has been short-circuited by rain with cold and strong winds, which dashed my hopes for the weekend of mulching and building a garden box out in the yard. Not feeling in a party or socializing mood, I skipped out on visiting outing with Andrew in favor of taking a nap yesterday. Plus my right thumb has been swollen and throbbing since an injury a few days ago, so I can't do other useful indoor things like drawing on a prize scroll for the upcoming SCA event or washing dishes or knitting. At least not without risk of re-injury. Today the thumb throb is no longer constant so I'm not doing much w/my hands in the hope that it will feel better for work tomorrow. Easy reminder to only use the left thumb on the space bar--quick shot of pain in right hand.

Feeling a bit slug-like.

Hoping to get my groove back tomorrow.
