IVD progress report
The IVD ride again, with tonight's meeting consisting of me playing a demo of a new track I wrote over the weekend to Jo'h, us working out things to do with the Electribe and me learning how to reprogram the Microkorg (only been playing the thing for two years, it seemed about time), on which I've managed to invent an interesting theremin-ish type noise that will probably be of limited practical use but it was fun to do anyway. There was also a fair amount of CD ripping and similar stuff (I'm delighted, by the way to be able to say I recognise the exact Microkorg sound-i.e. the A23 sound I've used in live versions of "Detergent"-on the Miss Kittin track currently playing, "Metalhead", as I type these words). All good. Saved me from a fairly grim-looking evening, too.
