Would a schlemiel by any other name be any less of a schlemiel?
So, I've decided to retire the hbar account, and switch over to something slightly more representative of me. hbar really only works on the 'I like physics' level. It doesn't even cover the area of physics that I like (as nifty as quantum is, it has very little bearing on plasma physics . . . except for quark-gluon plasmas . . . of which I know nothing).
wormphd doesn't necessarily imply the 'I like physics' thingie, but it covers some more bases. Reference to a song I like, indicative of my desire for a graduate level degree (although in the end it may be an Sc.D. or an Eng.Sci.D. . . . the difference in criteria somewhat escapes me), also reference to old video game I liked (Worms, it's like lemmings with heavy artillery).
At any rate, this is being dual posted on both wormphd and hbar. I have no idea how much I'll actually post on wormphd, but hbar is deader than before.
