I am sick YUCK!
Today was not cool. We found out that our companies accountant was making mistakes...so I had a lot of extra work to do today. I worked non-stop from 9-3pm...and ate a minimal lunch while working. At 3pm I finally decided that I needed to take a break because I started to feel light headed, and my vision was blurring. So I drove and got a popsicle and took a break from 3-3:30. I felt like I was getting a migraine...because my eyes were very sensitive to the light. While I was working, I used my sunglasses. Each minute I felt worse...I felt weak, light headed, kind of dizzy, and shaky. BUT I kept on working because my head boss was asking me to do things...and was working along side me. He even asked me to stay late..but luckily I had the nerve to say I couldn't. So I worked until 5:15pm...then decided I HAD to go. Talked to my coworker...said I didnt know if I should drive...she offered to take me home...but I said no...I would try driving and if it didn't work out...I would call a family member. SO I started driving...and it got 10x worse...called my dad...and pulled off to the side of the road...in some scary neighborhood....but at that point I didn't care...I just needed to stop driving. After a while my dad found me...and took me to the hospital. When I was transfering to his car...I could NOT walk by myself AT ALL. I didn't have a lot of control of my muscles...and I felt like I was going to faint. I got to the hospital...they put an IV in me...took a urine sample...and my blood. After laying down waiting for the results I felt A LOT better. After 2 hours they came back with the results...and nothing is wrong with me. The only unusal thing was my potasium level...but it wasn't anything really bad. They have no clue what caused this...but they do know that I am not anemic...or anything like that. SO I don't have to go to work tomorrow...if I don't want to...and I have to go back to the doctors within a week...for a follow up. So I guess we will see what happens. OH ya, and I totally missed out on hanging out with Amanda and Cat tonight..which totally bumbed me out. We were supposed to hear all about Utah..but I had to cancel..obviously. =( Anyways, I can't type anything more...because I am feeling light headed again...and so I need to lay down. Hopefully I will feel better soon.
