Here is why I value Jamie with all of my heart:
Jamie the girl that I lived next door to in 5th South. What a blessing she has been to my life. She is my ambition. She is so open with her struggles, completely vulnerable, honest, not disguised under a mask. I think this is the model that we should all look up to. Being REAL...saying I AM A SINNER...AND I NEED HEALING! How many Christians do you know who are willing to say that? Who is willing to say that I am struggling. Everyone puts their mask on...acting like their life is perfect...and sometimes that they themselves are perfect. WHY!? WHY do people do that?! WE AREN'T PERFECT! We all have our struggles! ADMIT THEM...ASK FOR PRAYER...ASK FOR SUPPORT! Be open to conviction.
Be willing to change. Run from your temptations. Stand strong. Rely on God. I am so proud of Jamie this semester. She has fought the fight. If she can do it...you can do it. God will give you the strength...if you ask Him for it.
When I see Jamie...my heart feels so warm...and full of love. I see TRUE, AUTHENTIC LOVE. She honestly cares about me...and will be there for me whenever I need her. She is a reliable, trustworthy friend. She would never be quick to judge. She understands. Through her, I see Gods love for me.
