working and dating

I finnished the sled prototype! I handed it off to the senior designer at Wham-O Monday night. I had a weekend of fabracation madness though it is done and out of my life. I can't post an image since I signed an NDA though imagine if you will a Chopper trike as a kids sled. Now the damn check has to come in. I really wish I could be paid like did from my Bob Boone commissions cash in installments with the final installment on delevery. Those were the days. Bob always was excited about seeing the progress and handing me cash. Some of the Bob commissions I worked for pennies on the dollar but it all came out really well. I didn't loose money on any of those works just lots of time. But with these fucking corprate gigs they make you wait on the accounting department. WTF, does that mean a week a few weeks? I know they will want me to make revisions to the sled after it is tested. I'll have to put my foot down if accounting doesn't process my invoice before then!
In other news I had another date with Emmie. I like her though there is continued awkwardness. I realize it isn't just me. She is interested but very much holding back. I'm not sure if it is mearly a lack of chemistry or some sort of lingering awkwardness. I'll have to send her some long e-mail asking what is up. At this point I'm really not afraid if that were to spook her off I suppose it would be some sort of test. I'd really like to be comfortable around someone I'm dating. In any case I have a date with another girl I met on Ok Cupid on wednesday night.
