USA Trip 2011
I'm home.
Wow it was an amzing trip and I did not want to leave.
Four days in NY
NY was awesome fun. I've been a few times so this short trip was for shopping. I bought alot of amazing clothes including some awesome Doc marten boots that rock my world. I also got the new Ipod nano which is so slick and will enable me to use it running and be able to see my track list (unlike my shuffle, whilst awesome drove me nuts cos I couldn't see the songs lists).
I went running in Central Park a few times which I love doing when I get to NY. One day was snowing and I was amazed how many people were still out walking and running.
We went to a cool blues club the Blue Note and several great restaurants in the short time we were there.
I didn't see a Broadway musical but I saw 39 Steps. This was a great adaptation. It put a humorous angle on the famous Hitchcock classic and only four actors in the entire production. The actors were very clever and it made me miss my acting days at school. I so should have pursued acting, god I miss it. lol
Two weeks in Aspen
Yah skiing. I love skiing and have been doing since I was a kid. It was great to get back on the slopes as I have not been for a few years. The snow was amazing. The best days were the sunny and clear days when you could just get on the slopes and ski all day and not worry about being too cold or not being able to see the slope.
On out last day skiing the weather was crap unfortunately. You could not see a foot in front of you and I practically cried getting to the bottom because the wind and snow was literally burning my face, lol. I can laugh now but when it happened it was bad.
Went and saw a cool Michael Jackson cover band at a bar/club called Belly Up. I totally recommend going there if you visit Aspen because its alot of fun.
We also had a few family dinners and lunches and visited some of my Dad's friends who were great and we had alot of fun talking and consuming much wine, mostly our wine though. lol
Overall a great trip and I cannot wait to travel again. Today is Australia day and the weather is great but I actually miss the -10 in Aspen and I'm craving a ski right now.lol

PS Castle anyone? OMG I have been going crazy waiting for this episode to air. Firstly, I thought it was amazing. Seriously hot, especially after the first kiss and they both looked at each other and you could see they were both contemplating what to do and their reaction, and then they both were sought of thought fuck it, and just went for it on the second round. lol. I love how you could tell they both were so desperate to kiss and just went with it. Too bad it had to end. I kind of can't wait for the kiss when its not for a cover.
