Update
I thought I better update seeing as I have not posted for ages!
Life
So I have pretty much been focusing on uni. I smashed through my animal law essay and presentation. Hopefully I pass. I am currently editing my admin assignment which is just crap. I loath this subject. It is seriously the worst subject combined with constitutional law in my law degree so fart. It is just so far from what I want to do if at all with law. I just read the question and I could not give a crap about the issue.lol oh well nearly done. November 23rd at about 4pm I will be done! Only a year and a half left! lol Last two exams are corporate law and real property. I have done like no work in corporate law except for the two letters of advice which felt like ages ago and i better get going seeing as i do not even under stand the last few weeks lectures. I have a little over a week til the exam so I should be ok. Real Property should be ok cos I actually like it and it is pretty straight forward once you know what sections of the act and the cases.
I am sure that was so interesting...
TV: Emma, V, Smallville, Eli Stone, Glee, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Community.....
I have watched the Emma BBC series twice now. OMG I love it so so so much. Romola Garai who plays Emma Woodhouse was perfection. Seriously. She was the perfect Emma. I always LOVED Gwyneth's version but I think that I prefer Romola. Oh and hello Jonny Lee Miller! LOVE HIM. I actually started Eli Stone and then heard about this series and have been kinda LOVIN' him alot lately.
They had such great chemistry as Mr Knightley and Emma. The ending was too adorable. The face and hand holding. LOVE. I also enjoyed Frank and Jane, they were too cute. Especially at the end when they were in the square and he swung her around! They were so happy and cute. As usual Frank's doucheness towards Emma was noted but it is expected. The dance scene! OMG so much tension and love between Mr Knightley and Emma! It was so good. I also loved how because it was a mini series we could see more of the characters. Emma character was more broadly examined.
I love how they focused on how she is so well placed in society yet she has failed to see the world and you see that longing in when her sister's kids mention the seaside, and her appreciation of the book that Mr Knightely bought her in regards to Box Hill. THE END. I just thought it was perfect. He bought her to see the seaside. Even though she will always have Hartfield as her home and will prob never be far from it, she got to see something.
Overall a great adaptation IMO and I love it. Totes need to watch AGAIN.
V - I was curious to watch this show cos of the hype and hello ELIZABETH MITCHELL! So has she actually left LOST?? If so, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I thought there may be a possibility of her coming back to life or something with time travel or similar to Desmond and the hatch, IDK, I just assumed she would not be gone. Come on it's LOST!
Anyway the show was ok. When it started I felt and still do that it would suit as a mini series more than a tv series. Seriously are they going to get 22 episodes from this? and additional season without it getting repedative? IDK, when it started it was just so IDK not original? can i say that? idk. I actaully loved the end part with that guy being one of the visitors and the whole resistance thing. I just felt like I've seen this type of thing. Oh well Ill keep watching.
Smallville - Ok last weeks episode? Awesome much? Tom and Erica's chemistry is ace. They work so well off each other. I love how every time there seems to be an emotional conversation or something Lois changes the subject and makes a joke or Clark becomes evasive. ah LOVE. They whole morning show thing and their banter and wit was great. OMG and the kiss. Finally. Clark grew some balls and took the plunge. So good.
Eli Stone - OMG how did I not watch this when it was on? I LOVE IT. Too bad it was cancelled. Omg Eli/Jonny is so so precious. He is just so adorable and cute. Maggie/Eli are so so so much love. I absolutely loved their whole relationship arc. I just loved how it developed from her being the irritatingly new associate to mutual respect and LOVE. Maggie herself developed alot. She started unsure of herself but actualy grew from Eli and his cases. Eli I think also got so much from her. Especially as she understood and accepted his aneurysm/visions. I totes need this show on DVD stat!
Glee- What can I say. It is prob the best new show this year!!! The songs, the campiness, the characters, EMMA AND WILL, and SUE SYLVESTER PWNING THE SCREEN.
I totes wish we had Glee club in Australia. I had never heard of it until this show. I would have joined if we had it at our school, it is totes my thing.
Ok Emma and Will. Totally meant to be y/y? I love them so much and the dance scene with her wedding dress was adorable. I cannot believe he is with Sherry. As much as I love the actress who plays her I HATE Terry. I know we are suppose to but what she is doing is so wrong!
How great was the guys mashup?!?? IT PWND! seriously Vitamin D was such a great episode. I love how Fynn was all "I don't even remember performing!" LOL
OK SUE! Can I just say how she owns this show and she is totally the best bit apart from the songs? God she is hilarious. Her tracksuits, her random comments about Will, her journal, Sue's Corner! MWHAAAA - LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
The Office - Is is just me or is it not THAT funny this year? The wedding ep was great but the rest have been mah. What is awesome is PARKS AND RECREATION! AHHHH this show is FUNNY! EVERYONE WATCH IT! oh oh and COMMUNITY. I watch all 8 episodes the other day and it is hilarious. OMG Joel McHale is so great (hot and cute at the same time!) and the character dynamics are amazing. Chevy Chase has some random hilarity to.
I really wanna talk about Lie To Me, Fringe and some others but I am over typing right now so.... lates!
PS: I totally oversued the word totally in this post, just so you know!
