Holidays and...stuff...

So! I want to send out Holiday cards this year! Yes, yes, I do. So drop me a comment here--comments will be screened--or e-mail me litas_games@ hotmail.com.

Work this past week was pure hell, as work during the week before Thanksgiving always is. Sunday night I worked from 8pm to Monday 6:30am. Woke up at 10am, then Monday night was 8pm to 7am Tuesday. Woke up at 8:15am and then Tuesday night was 7pm to Thursday 4am. That's right...there's a day missing in there. Straight through Wednesday with only an hour break to go home shower change and go back. 33 hours of work FUN. Then back to work Thursday at noon til midnight. My job sucks balls. John was not very happy with me. But what can I do? They needed the help and I'm on salary so it's not like I had to worry about overtime.

Ahhh John. He makes me very happy and he makes me want to be happy, which is strange because I haven't wanted to be very happy in a long time. And then there's the fact that he's thousands of miles away in the land of Oz... We're a semi-official couple now; he wants to make it truly official when he comes to visit in March. Says the first thing he's going to ask me when he gets off the plane is if I'll be his girlfriend. That makes me smile...a lot, though working the rest of the relationship when he leaves is going to be difficult, but what relationship isn't, right? We'll make it work. We both want something more from this relationship and we're willing to do whatever is needed for it to happen. He says he's willing to come here for a couple years...I'm more than willing to go there. I've been thinking a lot about going back to school...and I've been considering options that will take me overseas. We both think it's a good idea to live together for a while before making a real decision about marriage and more. My parents are very opposed to the idea of living together before marriage, but then they're conservative christians who believe that gay marriage and sex before marriage and all that other fun stuff is ick. Although my dad does support the idea of me going over there for a couple years...We'll just have to wait and see what happens in March.
