Cedric/Hermione :: 15 Minute Ficlets
I can't believe I actually rose to this challenge... usually I'm no good at writing in a small amount of time because I don't have enough time to collect and distribute my thoughts... but I thought, "what the heck, let's do this!"
And so my first ever Cedric/Hermione is born! =D
Because I can't debate over it and constantly change parts of it, I'm not sure how I feel about it... but hopefully I get some good feedback.

EIGHT DEADLY SINS

Hermione Granger was aware of the seven deadly sins, being a Muggle had thus given her an advantage over pure-blooded families.
She tried to remember them; Lust, Gluttony, Sadness, Avarice, Anger, Envy, and Pride.
According to some, committing one of these sins was a one-way ticket to Hell. Hermione was not religious, but did not debate over if God existed or not. Surely sins could be forgiven… surely you could forgive someone who had been jealous of their best friend, or had an extreme dosage of unrequited love…
She turned her attention to a happy young man - his brilliant grey eyes shone like the moonlight whenever he laughed, and his dark hair tended to fall into his eyes at the most inapt moments. She wondered if he had committed any sins.
Cedric Diggory was everything a girl could ever ask for - good-looking, conscientious, loyal, benevolent, and unselfish, not to mention a model student. He could ask out any girl he wanted, and she would fall at the click of a finger. Then why in the world did he ask the quiet, bushy-haired bookworm to Hogsmeade with him?
Is that a sin? Hermione wondered silently.
Was it possible for someone so talented and popular to want something out of a slightly bossy 4th-year student who had nearly read every book in the library?
Perhaps there should have been eight deadly sins instead of seven.
But was there really any harm in enjoying engaging in frivolity of such kinds?
After all, Hermione really did enjoy the feeling of Cedric’s lips on hers.
