Taking a break from LJ

Just for a bit, til my exams are done. Still gonna try and keep up with my land comms though, so I don't get kicked out :]

Good luck in the exams!
I should probably take a break too, but at the moment LJ is the only thing stopping me going insane, no matter how much it distracts me.

Hee, thankyou! Had a maths resit today- think I managed to get a worse mark on that one than I did on the first, oops.

Ahh, LJ is the least distracting thing for me right now. I have managed to bag myself a new man, so he takes up a lot of my time. Also reconnected with a friend I haven't seen in years, so we've been doing a lot of catching up. And going out every weekend probably isn't a good idea, but I do it anyway ;] hahahaha.

You've got your GCSEs about now, right?

Ahh, I see, congrats on the man :)

Yup, 2 down, 14 to go. I'm currently trying to hammer Carol Ann Duffy and Lord of the Flies into my head for my lit exam tomorrow :(

Thanks, you too :D

I managed to get through the exam and mention Duffy minimally, but I did rant on for one and a half pages about how Simon Armitage uses structure to "create a sense of pride"... meh, is finished now!

...Were you writing about "Mother, any distance greater..." by any chance? Haha

Yup, I won't be sad if I never see that poem again...

See, even a year on I can still recognise that poem just by the theme you were talking about :) Hahaha.
Do you know what you wanna do next year yet?

Hahaa, I highly doubt I'll remember any of them at all even by next week.
Well... I'll probably stay at my school's sixth form. The only two AS levels I'm sure I'll do are Maths and History, and the other two will probably be English or Biology.

What AS levels are you doing at the mo?

I do Maths, English Lit, History and Biology :) Hahahahaha. Dropping maths next year though and picking up German or Politics for another AS. Maths is haaaaaard, man :(

Wow, nice choices! (my english will be lit too)
I would quite like to do politics, but my school don't offer it. I do German GCSE, it would take a lot of persuasion for me to continue...
Thanks for those words of confidence in regards to maths though :P
