I forgot to take pictures of the last two dishes I made, so I will just describe them.
1. A warm zucchini and beet salad. I chopped up zucchini and boiled beets into peices about 2 x .5 inches. I sauteed the zucchini, and mixed it together with the beets in a dressing with mustard, oil and garlic. it wasn't really that great. i am going to try making a pasta sauce of grated beets and zucchini.
2. mashed seasoned lentils. I boiled some green french lentils for a long time, so they were quite soft. then i sauteed an onion and some garlic, added the lentils and two chopped tomatoes, and smooshed the lentils around. i added a little water, cumin seed, garam masala, salt, pepper and fresh marjoram and let it cook for a little while. this was pretty good.
