Seriously, though, I have seen the end...and that's about as much as I'm going to actually say about the story.
The book is a different matter.
I wandered through the wilds of the Barnes & Noble parking lot, waiting to go inside...but just to see the insanity, and
bevlovesbooks and
sherilenn, really.

I really don't care for B&N, as it happens, and I was able to get my plain copy from Wal-Mart for at least a dollar cheaper. No lines, also, or people acting crazy, beyond the normal scattered occurrences at late-night Wal-Mart. (Note to
bevlovesbooks: I also picked up an empty Book 7 box from WallyWorld.)
However, I decided to also acquire a shiny version of Book 7: There was a special illustration, hard case version wrapped in plastic, waiting for me to pluck it from WallyWorld obscurity. Originally listing for $65, I got it for about $45. Maybe it's not the most amazing "special package" version ever, but there are a few things about it that make me happy I chose it as my personal copy--art, coloration of the book, etc.
I finished the book in five hours; I could have gone faster, but I didn't want to miss anything. I'm glad I know now what our track will be facing, but it's going to make our lives just that much more challenging to manage.
That's all I wanted to say.
