I haven't been busy at all, since I decided not to take that scary Spanish exam on the 23rd I don't have anything else to prepare for,I have an exam on the 18th but it's just translation and the task for it had been completed in December, I just need to show up and say a few words on how/what/why/what difficulties I encountered while doing that-blahblah, maybe even less than that so, no big deal. It's probably the most blow-off teacher on our faculty. On the downside he's been teaching us (or better say not teaching us) for 3,5 years because they have no one else who specializes in Spanish at the translation/interpretation department we ultimately belong to.

I started having Delena feelings in the middle of s1, I think, I love that their relationship/whatever was built-up, it was interesting to me because we actually see it develop and progress, instead of just twu wuv in 2 episodes Stelena manifest, ugh, I've been sooo bored by them from the beginning, barf. They were cute sometimes (when happy) but otherwise yawn, though I found that with Ripper!Stefan they are at least somewhat hot. I dunno how I feel about Stefan, I don't get him, I think, he's really like two personalities, either ripper or goody-goody, Damon is sort of both at the same time which makes him more interesting, I think, and what you see is what you get, you see there are bad sides to him but then there are also good and kind, and the more time passes the more good you see, and with Stefan it's the other way around,lol, you are in for a surprise, bad surprise,lol. And Damon, my poor bb, don't even start with all the unfair stuff that happened to him and how he was always the scapegoat and second best to his brother ("There's only so much hurt a man can take" poor woobie) Yeah, my bleeding heart hearts him a lot. And his snark is still my favourite.
Oh, I definitely enjoy angsty and UST-y Delena, in fact, I'm pretty sure if/when they reach a happy stage in their relationship I will become bored,lol. But so far I just wuv them, immensely enjoy when they are fighting/bickering and Alaric is there to watch with eye-roll,haha. And the sweet and hot moments love them too, not gonna lie, when she just got under covers matter-of-factly while he continued to lie over them and peacefully closed her eyes while facing him (when I saw the moment in a fanvideo I thought it was a manip) I was kind of puking rainbows because my ship sharing a bed innocently is like agassahsdffhg one of my favourite staples that I don't get to see a lot except in fanfic. And like I said I loove build-up, especially when the characters' initial impressions of each other change with time (heh, First Impressions, why does it even need saying, not really)Watching Damon gradually and slowly fall in love with Elena over the course of s1 was my favourite thing, and now she is developing feelings for him too (well, there was always attraction but now there's something deeper) also I wonder does she realise how much she relies on him, hmm, like someone said, he really is her rock. So just guh, I ship it, yes, I do.
(I also ship Elena/Alaric and Stefan/Caroline but that's the fault of Tumblr which had made me ship those before I'd even started the show and made it seem like a bigger deal that it really is on the show. Ooh, and how could I forget, I ship Klaus/Death, I hate him, would never forgive him Jenna, I loved Jenna even though I knew she was gonna die, I was spoiled for everything *gg*)
As for Bonnie, I go back and forth on her, there were a lot of times she annoyed me but there are a lot of times she's a badass. Also, I wished Lexie weren't killed.

I loved S1 Damon like whoa. Watching him grow and change and become honorable and emotionally invested and stuff was great. And when he confesses his feelings for Elena and then makes her forget? Ow, ow, my heart. Love them. And LEXI, OMG, LEXI! Why did she have to die? Why, dammit!! I almost didn't forgive Damon for that one. I loved Lexi so much. *sigh*
Haha about Klaus/Death. =) Yeah, dude needs to DIE the final death. Soon. *shakes fist at show*
Bonnie is pretty uneven, agreed, but I loved her in the begining blowing feathers around. So cool. =)

Cracky tv is just about the only enjoyable thing about my life, so yeah, you bet I'm enjoying it. I've started to ration TVD episode,though, I've only 2 left to catch up and I'm afraid of a strike of withdrawal that may come.
Btw, were you able to catch Castle and HIMYM? How much does it suck that Marshall and Lily moved to the suburbs and how unexcited I am for Castle *sigh* Kinda said, two year ago about this time I was having a blast with each new Castle episode, now I'm just like, meh, whatever. I've watched two today (last week's and the current's) and I have almost zero impression left...Well, Stana Katic continues to be gorgeous but that's about it.
Yes, I just love progression so much, and him falling for Elena,aw, I also love how he went from arrogant "There's something between us Imma prove it to you" in s1 finale to "I know it will always be Stefan but I love you anyway and I hope you know it" in s2 finale, aww. And GAH, his first love confession "I love you and because I love you I cannot be selfish with you, I don't deserve you but my brother does" Just gah, probably favourite love confession ever at the moment, 'cause it was truly selfless (Stefan's selfishness just flows from the first line of the tv show "Blahblahblah bad idea but I HAVE TO know her"), he didn't even burden her with it, he took the memory away after he allowed himself this little weakness of even telling her in the first place, and then FOREHEAD KISS SWEETMOTHEROFGOD, (she totally thought he was gonna kiss her again and actually parted her lips but he went for the forehead instead, just aaah, my heart, hee, I love how these days he would blab about something and she'd just be looking at his lips (yeah, I know they kiss in 3x10, I'd been spoiled for it, it was actually what finally pushed me over the edge to decide to watch it*gg*)) yeah, Damon's mostly one-sided love in s2 just HURTS SO GOOD. Also, the fact that he devotedly loved Catherine for 150 years and yet he now loves Elena MORE. *sigh*
LEXIE, YES, WHYYY? The only time I was mad at Damon for killing someone :/ She was so awesome she deserves her own show!
Ugh, srsly, KLAUS, WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE ALREADY, I HATE YOU. What surprises me is that he's actually quite popular in the fandom (WTF?) and people ship him with Caroline and Stefan. I watch to punch his rotten face, there's nothing about him that I like.
I thought the feathers trick was pretty lame,lol, but she's really awesome at giving vampires and werewolves aneurysms, hehe *gg* and I love her "chanting spells" voice, it gets soo impressively low, deep and ominous.

I just watched Castle and HIMYM now. Castle I was kind of meh about. I don't like them being on opposite sides of things. HIMYM wasn't one of the stronger eps, though I did laugh at the "Relationship Chicken" thing.
Damon - YES, YUM, and more YES! I watched that vid you linked to in your other comment - wow, it's GORGEOUS! I espeically liked the way the shadows and light worked in black and white like that. *sigh*
LEXIE - WHHHYYYYY indeed. I was REALLY pissed at Damon for killing her for half a season. *makes angry eyes at him*
Like you, I don't get Klaus, I don't ship him, I don't get shipping him, and I hope he dies soon.
I just liked the joy on her face when she first made them float. But yeah, she's more fun kicking ass and taking names. =) I didn't really get her whole romance with Jeremy; I could have done without that. But witchy!Bonnie is cool.

Gosh, I've developed such a thing for Damon *sigh* I hate liking vampires XD But I spent quite a while reading some fanfic on Thursday, I just love that this snarky jaded romantic who no one ever loved enough just loves this girl sfm without any real hope, aadsjsajhsd, I feel like loving is Damon's human trait most heightened by becoming a vampire (while Stefan's is guilt and self-loathing)
The vid - yess, so pretty, I'm not usually a fan of b/w but b/w really suits Damon/Elena, as does the quiet slow burn of the melody, and the editing is just so seamless. I favourited a handful of vids but this is the one I also DLed on my computer)
I'm afraid Klaus is here to stay, because the show needs their antagonist, who else is left, there's literally no one more powerful than him anymore (which totally sucks, I don't like indestructible villains who have mommy and daddy issues)
Yeah, she fell for him too fast, and he is such a jerk, at first he jerked Anna around because he was too hung up to Vicki and then he jerked Bonnie around because he was too hung up on Anna, the boy is clueless and Bonnie deserves A MAN.

Agreed about Damon. But, you know, at least he doesn't sparkle or anything. Have you found any good Damon/Elana fanfic that doesn't also have incestuous Stephan stuff in there? I looked for a few minutes on AO3 once, but everything seemed to be Damon/Elena/Stephan, and the brothers together squick me.
I think you're probably right about Klaus staying. He's even in the show promo pics. Sigh. Bleh.

btw, that ACTA it's not actually your country, it's 39 others (I'm pretty sure Russia is not one of them because Russian government wouldn't give a fuck about illegal downloads but I don't depend on Russian sources for DLs unfortunately) and it seems even scarier than SOPA.
everyone has a right to do whatever they want without the government interfering, unless someone else could be making money off of it.
Ugh, srsly, GO CATCH RAPISTS AND MURDERERS OR SOMETHING, GEEZ. Also, if you'd just made TV-shows available and accessible on-line worldwide in the first place there would be NO illegal downloads. Most of the stuff I DL I watch just once and delete so it's basically the same as if I'd watched it on telly, and like many people say, without so called piracy they would have never found out about their current fave shows/books/movies and wouldn't have bought the legal copies of them because when you love something you actually want to own it. Even I would have bought DVDs of some of my favourite tvshows if they actually distributed them here in the first place. So if anything Internet actually brings MORE gain to the owners of intellectual property than loss. As for TV it's like a library, libraries are free, you know. So unless you try to sell something you DLed from the internet it's not piracy. Stupid high-handed politicians of the world.
Hee, I watch a lot of spy shows so I shouldn't be surprised by bad Russian but I still cringe all the time *gg* Because just geez do your job, bring a specialist, don't freaking use Googly translator because you'll embarrass yourself. Also, speaking of HIMYM, I read somewhere the writers have realised what a huge mistake they made with not making Robin the mother, WHERE WERE YOUR BRAINS 7 YEARS AGO? Really?? IDIOTS!! *facepalm* I can't believe they (a) didn't realize how awesome Ted and Robin were, (b) thought that somehow they'd write a mother we would all like after 7 years of writing Robin who we love, and (c) were dumb enough to admit they made a mistake. Now I have ZERO hope for liking the mother.

Well, the thing is, here, the most influential but unpredictable factor kicked in, THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE ACTORS, some writers are smart enough to realise what a goldmine they've discovered (like, even though Dan Harmon never planned for J/A to become a legitimate thing the ON-screen chemistry between the actors was so powerful they had to milk it, and they realised their supposed OTP have zero chemistry, more like sibling-vibe, so they had a whole relationship OFF-screen) and others will pig-headedly push the preconceived canon pairings on us.

LOL, good thing I never went to AO3 because I haven't stumbled onto any OT3, I haven't read any long fics but I did read a few beautiful one-shots on Thursday, this girl has my favourite kind of writing style, I read her Jeff/Annie fics last year and I stumbled onto her Delena fics this year, I read a couple(I was just looking for more recent stuff, preferably s3-ish, cause with new ships I like to stay canon compliant) and this is my fave

There are a shitton of AUs some of them with really intriguing premises and I know how much you love them (I love them too, once I get tired to canon-compliants) But I haven't found out which are good ones yet, because a few of the links I checked they lead to FF.net to stories that had a shitload of reviews and yet are clearly written by teenagers that start every sentence with a pronoun or use sentences like "He was so beautiful, like a Greek god"etc (which is an indication they took Twilight writing tips 'cause comparing the handsome vampire to a greek god/statue is like a trademark Smeyer thing) So I prefer to stick to LJ-links as much as possible, LJ has a 75% chance of better quality fics, but you can look through them, maybe you come across something good, ley me know if you like something.

I didn't read further at the time because I was just testing waters and looking for more recent stuff, this one goes AU in Delena's first road trip, I think, but Damon is so in-character I think I even laughed at what he says. and the last thing, I'm finishing the first Hunger Games book and it's definitely readable, my mind has not yet been blown (probably because I've read too much fantasy in my day and it's not THAT original to me) but the main character is probably the most awesome 16-year old to exist, she is so resourceful and badass and has no time for stupid sentiment, so I like her.

Btw, I've got a hankering for one particular premise but it wasn't satisfied, if you came across any fanfic where Elena does not forget that Damon confessed his feelings in 2x08 and has to deal with it, could you throw it my way. There is a couple of fics like this on the big rec list from Tumblr but the writing/or characterization was deplorable and I couldn't get through a chapter. Also, something where Elena meets Damon first but which isn't sick and twisted (ugh, just read the premises to a lot of AUs there, they are terrible)
Well, the premise of THG is sad, but it's just the beginning, I haven't reached that part yet, but I take it that in the third book of the trilogy they actually fight against the oppressive regime and topple it, so there would be no Hunger Games anymore.
