Young Victoria

Saw this at the cinema with Mum, and it is going on the DVD list, as it was brilliant. Excellent cast and great acting. I loved the costumes (although the hair and the hats were quite something) and the settings. Paul Bettany was marvellous as the scheming Melbourne, and Jim Broadbent was a wonderful king. Victoria and Albert came over as very likeable.

Robots

It had been a while since I saw this, and I had forgotten how funny it was. The detail in this film is amazing, and provides so many extra laughs. The jokes are clever, and the message is subtle. Clearly made for grown ups though.

Finding Nemo

I hadn't seen this before, but I quite enjoyed it. Typical Disney  - good story, happy ending, nice message, and enough to keep the grown-ups happy. Good example of a single father, and I loved the fish in the tank.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I like this new version so much better than the one I watched as a child. I don't mind the changes they have made, and the whole look of the film is fantastic. Johnny Depp is just the right sort of odd for this. Love it.

King Arhur

This was a very different set up from a lot of Arthur tales, I liked it though. I loved the round table, and thought the politics were well done. Sadly Keira Knightly still can't act - and lets not mention *that* outfit ...
Didn't grab me overmuch, but not bad overall.
