(no subject)
I had a good birthday yesterday. I didn't expect to, being on midnights and all, but no it was awesome. Heidi, Nicole and Lisa got me a birthday card and cake, which was so nice. And then I got woken up from my sleep today three times by Ginny, Jeri Lee and my Grandma wanting to say happy birthday. Sucks that my sleep got interrupted, but nice all the same.
When I got up, Avril showed me my birthday presents on the table, with the card she had made herself. Jeff and the girls got me a curly bamboo (which I've always wanted), and another set of dishes (excited about getting dishes for my b-day - that makes me old). And then we went out and Mary Lee and I got Highlights for Hope, since neither of us are brave enough to shave our heads for Cops for Cancer. :-) Picked up Rahne from school and walked home via McVicar's Creek - so pretty, and by the time we got home, dinner was ready and bubbling in the slow cooker. Pot roast with potatoes, carrots and parsnips. Mmm. And Marnie got me a gift certificate for one of my favourite digi-scrapping stores. I talked to my Grandma and Grandpa, who are home from Texas now, and my mom called me from Australia and decided she'll send me shopping to get whatever I want from her and Ash. I like those kinds of present.
So yesterday, I got my 50th friend on Facebook. Who knew I knew so many people. I guess I'm not such a hermit after all (see my posted items)? *L I was trying to figure out my first friend, but it won't let me go back that far. It would only let me go back as far as Feb 28, on which day I added Kim M and Jeff. James is my 50th friend, and I think Michelle may have been my first friend, but there is a shadow of doubt. Ah well.
