Being Female..Day 2
Day 1:
Wore nicer pants (no jeans in sight), a Vera Wang 100% cotton, long sleeved shirt in deep purple, black flip flops. Hair was blown dry straight and soft, make up highlighting the lips and eyes. Gold hoop earrings, gold link bracelet and matching necklace.
Reactions: 3 different men in 3 different locations spoke to me on random subjects of the weather, what kind of soda I was drinking, and if I came to Park Avenue a lot.
Day 2:
Wearing nicer pants again, long sleeved aqua-teal T shirt, brown open toed sandals with a 1" heel. Hair pulled up in a clip, silver-and-turquoise dangle earrings, blue topaz ring. VS lip gloss in Cheery Cola (tastes yummy too!) and double-mascara'd eyes.
Reactions (so far): Hit on by a (hot!) server at IHOP, who thought I had been part of the 20-something crowd that came in right before me, and was surprised I was sitting alone. His assessment: "Gorgeous eyes!" Then he came back around a 2nd time, asked if I like eating alone? Is "he" OK with me coming in alone? I smiled back and said, "Yes, *he* is quite OK with me coming in alone. *He* knows I'll be back sooner or later." The server laughed, "Shoot, can't win."
OK...feeling a bit more girlie. :)
