New Year, New You...

~ Well kids, this year has been insanely eventful. Christmas was a hard one for me this year because my grandfather was in the home. He has not recovered from breaking his hip bone. He is in a constant state of confusion because of the drugs or something else going on in his mind, no one is sure. It was heart breaking to see him struggling. I had never seen a family member this close like that before. He is constantly in my prayers and I hope he can come home soon. I also got sick myself on Christmas Eve which was no fun. I am not sure what it was but it felt awful. That lastest a couple days. Also on the way home from Nathanael's house and a guy started to follow me and flash his lights, he proceeded to follow me all the way to Bridgewater and around the town...it was extrememly frightening. Finally, he gave up...around the same time I decided to go to the police station if he kept on...I should have thought of that sooner. Anyway, that was Christmas for me. Other then that, it was great seeing the family and spending my first Christmas with Nathanael.

~ Other news was my sister and good friend got engaged on and around Christmas. My sister had been dating her boyfriend for a couple of months and get are getting hitched! I am excited for them, when you know you know. It will be a fun wedding. Their date is April 8, 2006. Also, my other friend is a dear dear friend of mine and she is getting married in September. EXCITING!!!!

~ I am debating on switching jobs...and I haven't even started my frist one yet. A man from Bridgwater College called me and asked if I would be interested in being a Resident Director for one of the girl dorms. I would live in an appartment, which they provide, and cable, internet, food, health insurance and benefits are all included. It sounded like something I wanted to do, so I went in for the interview and it was great. I think I am going to do this job instead. The Commonwealth Center would have been good, however I think I am being pulled in this direction a little more. I have no investments in the Commonwealth Center and they have none in me, so that will not be difficult to stop...stop something I never even started. Ha. That is exciting, I will enjoy this job.

~ OTHER NEWS and the most important news: is Nathanael and I got engaged! It is so amazing to see how God had brought us together over the past year and blessed our relationship. We had been babysitting my nephews and decided that once the parents returned we would take a walk. Around 1 in the morning we went and got some coffee and sat down by the river which has a nice park around it. We have a lot of memories surrounding that area, so it was nice going their for our one year. After a while of talking about our past and future and how wonderful the past year had been, he asked me to walk down by the water with him. So I did. There we talked and hugged more, I remember his heart beating soooo fast, and I didn't know why. He knew I was getting cold, so he told me we could leave, only he had one thing to ask me before we left...and he got down on one knee!!! WONDERFUL. I screamed yes!!! It is excited to think that this time next year I am going to be Knopp, I can't wait. I love him and am so excited about spending the rest of my life with him.

~ That was my Christmas holiday...crazy and wonderful. Take care.
