Little kids play best in the street
Today was pretty awesome.
chilled with DeCosta. After much back and forth we went to Friday's. Pretty much was a 'make fun of friday's" visit. That and talk about girls. And me...?
Had a practice drill session with most of my squadron for the parade this monday. went from 1300 till 1700. I don't know if anyone picked up on the fact that I pretty much just planned it thursday. Even though I told people like over a week in advance I didn't really know what I was doing till actually after people showed up. Luckily it worked out wicked well. Wicked well being people love each other more than they did before. I guess that's good. Love I hear is good when shared. I'm also glad people waved and smiled as they saw us like practising in their neighborhoods instead of calling the police, like I was initially planning on happening. This one dude actually got his daughter, put her in a stroller thing and followed us for a couple blocks. He even waited for us to learn manuevers and then continued following us! he suggested some things. Might have been in JROTC at one point in his life. Like 10 years ago haha.
Tabby turned 16. I told DeCosta that on the way to Fridays and we almost crashed. Bad idea to freak the driver, I know, but he should know. Can't wait to totally partea it up tomorrow at her sweet 16!!! CAKE YEAH!
