Easter Weeview
Above I tried to write "Easter weekend overview" but my computer saw fit to pause in the middle. Oh well. So, here is the Weeview.
Friday -- no school. Got a massage at 10 (honest to goodness - i NEEDED it!) took Wendy (roomie) to car shop to get her car fixed. Bought a cheap fleece blanket at tj max for $13. Daisy has taken a keen interest in it which is remedied by yelling and stern looks. She likes nice fleece. Go figure, I bought a dog with taste as good as mine.
Watched atonment with wendy and daisy -- terrible. Well, well-made, but terrible ending. the end.
Mandy and Kathryn came in town at 6:30 for the end of their spring break. went to keagan's with them and chatted about all things PBA -- which is basically still slowly going down in smokes. Ma Searle manages to ruin an entire institution. And it's true what they said -- when St. Antoine leaves, that place is over. Forget your degree being worth anything. Thank God I'm in law school... oh wait nobody likes pat robertson... including myself...
Anyway, it was fun catching up with those girls. Next year we'll ALL be in law school, woot woot ( i hate hate "woot woot" but it's started following my voice around...)
Said goodbye to them early Saturday morning, took daisy out to pee, then went back to sleep on the couch till 11:30 -- holy crap! My body is so exhausted it's all i can do to get out of bed these days and get myself somewhere. I constantly crave sleep...
I let wendy talk me into going rollerblading at the ocean / board walk instead of doing homework... that was fun. Went to Big Sams afterwards -- awesome little local joint with incredible food and good prices. Did some PR homework that night, went to bed.
Today: Easter Sunday. Went to the 8:45 church service. Went to lunch at wendy's parents with laura and katie and sara. got big and full. hung out there for a while. went to emilie's for easter dinner at 5; ate a lot more, kept getting fatter.... eeek!!
Just got home 30 minutes ago. It's 9 now. I have 40 pages (i.e. 2 hrs) worth of criminal law reading for tomorow, and a huge mother of a brief due in 2 weeks that i have barely touched.
Lord please help me. (And yes, I mean that in all seriousness). The next couple of weeks... correction... the next month and a week or so -- until April 30th -- are going to be rough and intense -- as soon as the brief is done and the 1L moot court competition is done... I have 3 beastly exams to test what i have learned (and forgotten already) all semester.
summer can't come soon enough.
