I'm still alive, Iowa's still too damn cold.
I got accepted to the University of Michigan School of Information's human-computer interaction program. So that's pretty cool.
And Carnegie Mellon finally cashed the check for my application fee, so I finally know that despite the fact that I forgot to include it with the rest of my application and they didn't reply to my email apologizing for the fact that it would arrive separately, they are actually going to consider my application. That's pretty cool too.
Unless they're like "Screw it, we'll take her money anyway and just tell her she's been rejected for gross incompetence."
I have been a little worried about this. Maybe.
after a semester and a half of luck and remembering which laundry machines I know are safe, I finally washed my clothes in one that doesn't actually do the spin cycle so half my laundry was still completely waterlogged and took two hours to mostly-dry.
Not much else to report, really.
