(a) the astros would come back from 3-0 due to an inexplicable string of white sox errors.
(b) it would then come out that the sox had, in fact, thrown the series.
(c) it would be a big scandal, and
(d) Daley would go on TV and declare that "Chicago still ain't ready for reform!"
but i'm wierd like that.
