Hello there! Nice to hear from you. Alito sounds a VERY shady character. Reading his answers to questions on his views, they must feel like they're trying to nail jelly to a wall!

But i WAS encouraged that someone is finally making a fuss over those lil' ammendment things that GW seems to think are so unimportant 'at this time of terr' when our very existence is under attack from outside forces and people who don't believe as we do.

I suppose here he means his Republican Guard?

Wow, I could not agree with you more... "animals that you trained... people you educate" I think terrorism has gone to the politicians heads and the war against Terror *screams in frustration* aren't we fighting terrorism not terror, terror is an emotion and if we are fighting terror, we are most certainly losing because everyone seems to terrified.

Hi, yeah, fighting terror"ism" - the use of terror to tyrannise and control others - sounds familiar doesn't it, and very close to home.
Then to declare war on terror?
That's like saying "this nation is embracing love." Very sweet, but meaningless.
Trouble is I can believe the former more easily than the latter. There's no money to be made from love unless you're Hallmark, and money's what I hear talking, not peace, co-operation and tolerance. Hell, I'm an idealistic hippy, but if people could just stop knee-jerking and acting so damn scared all the time, maybe they'd be able to listen to other ideas.

Did I mention that I was an idealistic hippy? *g*
