I got bored so did Periwinkle's What Big Cat are You? quiz, and then some more, but my journal hasn't recorded them properly. :( Just the results. Ho hum.
Being cougar is cool though *g* and I've always fancied writing film scripts cause I love writing dialogue, and when I write stories they seem like films that I'm watching in my head.

I'm keeping pretty well. No broken or missing parts, that I've noticed:) Spring's nearly here. The snow's finally melted, but the air temps are still quite chilly. Everything's still brown. But, hooray! The tulip and daffodil shoots are beginning to appear. We won't have blooms for some time, though. Daffodils will come earlier, maybe in a week. It's good walking weather - cool air and windy! I have the most lovely image in my head of tender leaves unfurling and little lambs jumping in the new spring grass at your place! If you can, will you put up a photo of the lambs?

We lost a branch from our backyard birch tree on Friday, the one holding the finch feeder. It's been so windy, and the tree is old and week. But sigh, our feeder's ruined, and the birds have gone eleswhere. I'm going to get a replacement this week, and try to attract more songbirds to the yard.
As of now, the only wildlife we have are the dullard morning doves (have you ever seen a stupider bird?) and the chipmunks who are intent on undermining my patio garden with their tunnelling.

Writing's bumpy. Fits and starts for hobby fics, lots of WIPs. I plonk away at them, trying to get them unstuck, and I'm getting there. Personal journalling seems to be the only think I can lose myself in lately.

How 'bout you? Got anything in the pipe?

(Spring is coming)Ah yes, you're in the aperitif stage before the starters! :)
We're enjoying a lovely entree of busy bees, early butterflies, cherry blossom and gentle rains/fresh sunny days. Most birds are nesting or laying and the earliest ones might even be incubating. There's a robin pair we've only seen one of for a few days, so one's probably sitting already.
We get two main sorts of dove in the garden and the stupidest are the biggest. Two would make a nice pie! The others are dainty and almost pink in colour with a tiny black collar and a black eye. They're called, duh! Collar Doves. The stupid ones are Wood Pigeons. Nuff said eh? :)

Writing: It's zine submission time so Periwinkle and I have just completed three things of which one goes in one of Lisa's zines, probably Kuryakin Files. There'll probably be one in Eyes Only if it gets published this year, we submitted it last year and the zine didn't come out. If it doesn't publish this year it will go elsewhere probably. There's something gone to Bast's zine, World's Enough and something else to Taz's. That's four isn't it? Damn, maths wasn't my strong point. *g*

There's another big one that's only half done, and lots of 'spits and starts'. If I didn't have Periwinkle they'd all remain that way, half done or in bits. LOL. I seem to need a definite person to write for in the first place. It keeps me on track. She's more organised than me too!

I understand about the journalling. Sometimes it's what's needed. Sometimes though, it lets the steam escape when maybe some pressure should build? It's been that way for me anyway. Best of luck with the WIPs. If you want anyone to take a looksee (just a read and an opinion, not a beta) I'm always happy to do that.
Take care of yourself, and enjoy the unfurling season. I'll do my best with the lambs, but it's hard to get close! LOL
