That scene is poignant on so many, many levels. I can only imagine the lance of pain that went thru Jack's heart, and poor Ianto, such words coming from within his heart. Wow.

It's one of my favourite songs, possibly THE favourite when Bessie Smith sings it accompanied simply by Louis Armstrong on his wonderful horn. I heard that Gareth likes to sing the ol' blues songs and this came out of those two stimuli.
