1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before? aderol. bad idea.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? yes, and i';ve made several more this year that i intend on keeping.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? nope
4. Did anyone close to you die? nobody close to me, so relatives i didn't really know
5. What countries did you visit? japan
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? i dont know.
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? april 30, the day i left on my month long journey to the west coast and japan. it completely changed my life, being so far form my life, i returned a different and better person. everything has changed since then, and for the better.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? besides all that personal growth stuff? i dont know, getting into a small group show and this residency in NC are pretty big...
9. What was your biggest failure? i dont feel that i failed at anything. i made some choices that weren't the best for me in hindsight (sp?), but they seemed right at the time so, what can i say?
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? i got these bladder stones...and that really sucked. oh yeah, and that um...thing i got in march...that sucked too. all cured now though!
11. What was the best thing you bought? my polaroid camera. i love it.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? this year? umm...i'm not sure. lots of people were great, but to be honest, and maybe this is cocky of me, but my behavior merited celebration. i surprised myself. and my mom, she was really great.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? i think it would be hurtful to mention them, as some read this journal, so i'll just say that i was dissapointed in some people i cared about. i wasn't nece4ssarily appaled, but dissapointed that i didn't know them as well as i thought i did.
14. Where did most of your money go? hahah japan, and food. i spend so much money on food. and art supplies. oh, and college:P
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? goign to japan
16. What song will always remind you of 2004? anything alicia keys:) amy knows why.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you
i. happier or sadder?: way happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? depends on when...heavier than the aderol days, but thinner than certain times. i'd say a good weight.
iii. richer or poorer? richer
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? nothing, i'm happy with what i did.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? same as above
20. How will you be spending Christmas? with mom. wait this year or last year? last week with my mom, next xmas in mexico with mom.

24. What was your favorite TV program? hmm...sex and the city? law and order? angel?
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? i dont hate. there are a number if peopl i no longer talk to.
26. What was the best book you read? i can't remember wheni read some books. gangs of new york? i can't remember any of the books i read this year...not sure why.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? sufjan stevens, thanks to Dan. OH and cat power, thanks to Jessica.
28. What did you want and get? things for my apt, some books.
29. What did you want and not get? my mac:( it's supposedly coming
30. What was your favorite film of this year? garden state, or eternal sunshine of the sporless mind..
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old? 19. it kinda sucked, everybody cancelled on my party, just like that season 4 sex and the city episode. but i got to spend it with adam and that was nice.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? more money? i dont know, it was satasfying.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? i mostly wear work clothes to school (very replaceable stuff) and i dress up to go out outside of class.
34. What kept you sane? lots of things at different times.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? i dont really fancy celebrities generally.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? the whole bush election got me pretty upset, but i've lived to tell the tale.
37. Who did you miss? Josh and adam. i never get to see them, and they're two of my very closest guy friends...or friends period (they've stood the test of time!).
38. Who was the best new person you met? completely new? Lauren. i love that girl.
