Transition
Tim has packed his bags and set off for more northern climes. It feels very weird after being in Limbo for so long that it has actually happened so quickly after months of anticipation.
I now have a long distance marriage. I have to adjust to living alone again, and also to not having a car or a laptop. Tim is renting a room from friends, which will be different from our former leisure stays. He has to adjust to living away, to a new job, to commuting, to new everything.
We had a lovely holiday for the first part of this week, tramping and pedalling around the Forest of Dean in chilly but bright weather. We also spent a day in Gloucester, though unfortunately we had managed to pick a week when our friend there was away.
Highlights included seeing a stag, standing in the pathway in front of us, antlers held high and looking back at us, something we wouldn't have seen if we had visited in peak time!
