anime updates and stuff
so i am sick and bored. been sick for about 2 weeks now. Finally giving
in and going to the dr. he prolly wont put me on anything great. But if
it makes me stop coughing i'll be grateful.
So my first introduction to live action asian dramas was like L.A. Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Which, to quote my friend Adam, is like..."A train wreck. You know it is going to end up bad but for some reason you can't stop watching."
Then i think i watched Gokusen, which was pretty funny...
"The story of a young, idealistic teacher who enters Shirokin Gakuen with hopes of making a difference in the students' lives. However, Yamaguchi Kumiko is in for a rude awakening when she finds that she will be the homeroom teacher of 3-D, the hardest class to maintain in the school. The students have multi-colored hair, sloppy uniforms, and show absolutely no respect to her. The leader of the class, Sawada Shin is lazy but shows some interest in Yamaguchi when he notices that she is very different from other teachers. The students try to bully her to make her quit, but their attempts don't get them very far.
What the class and the rest of the school does not know is that Yamaguchi Kumiko is actually the 4th generation heir to the Ooedo Group, a notorious yakuza clan."
Then i checked out the taiwanese peach girl live action, after watching the anime, that also wasn't bad.
...and now i am watching Hana Yori Dango.
Sometimes it's fun to watch asian dramas and compare the differences and similarities that i find. I really like Hana Yori Dango so far. I can't wait til the next episode finishes downloading.
There seems to be a lot of really decent new anime comming out on fansubs.
Blood+: A continuation of the first Blood: the last vampire anime. (Actually i think this anime started out well, but slowed down around episodes 3-5, then it picked back up well)
Magikano: Looks good, typical magic school girl anime, but it's plot seems solid (we ARE talking about anime here). Besides the obvious fanservice and the odd neko-ears. : \ I will update more when it's complete, it just came out today.
Bleach and Shuffle! still look to be going strong. I don't bother downloading them since they have so many episodes. I would rather wait til the series is complete and available in sets of episodes.
Karin, a humerous vampire anime, about a family of vampires living in japan, however the daughter Karin is an Un-vampire and at the most ridiculus times her nose bleeds in what can only be described as an explosion of blood spraying everywhere.
Mai Otome:the sequel series to Mai-HiME. Haven't watched this one yet, Mai-HiME had so much unneccesary fan-service i wasn't that interested in it. I guess i will give this one a second chance.
Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden: Träumend: A different anime that has a lot to do with dolls, but in the creepy "dolls comming to life and killing way". Also has a decent plot from what i can see, good storyline and really good characters and character development.
*yawn* so those are the only animes i am watching right now ^_^ This is what a sick hazel does when she's bored.
