(no subject)
you know what? despite having to spend new years with my family and not being able to get completely trashed, i actually had a really good time.
we went out to eat at villaggio's at my suggestion. none of us had ever been there before and i definitely had not expected it to be so nice. but it was and it's our new favorite restaurant. omg. best food ever.
then my dad and i rented movies. we home and watched march of the penguins, which was okay. then watched the ball drop, tv. it was a pretty relaxing, tasty, and quality new years.
i didn't mind it one bit.
my mom said she didn't go upstate because she didn't want me to be alone on new years, my dad said she was afraid i would have a party, but i think she knew pretty well that i had no friends to invite. i was looking forward to a night alone and pretty upset that i didn't get one, but now, i'm glad my parental unit stayed home, because it all turned out well in the end.
tonight i am going to my uncle's house for the first time in like forever. one of my cousins i havn't seen since i was, like, 12. i wonder if he will be there. i havn't seen my aunt since i was like i don't know, but years and years, it's been. and it would have been years for my uncle and other cousin, but i just saw them last year when my israeli cousins came and visited.
today i am also supposed to paint my brother's room. oh and i think tonight is the last night of chanukah. that holiday goes by so fast, it's incredible. yet passover goes by so slow, how weird is that. same amount of days, dammit.
and i don't even want to go into how slow yom kippour is, and that's only one day.
anyway this entry is becoming much longer than intended, so with that i will sign off.
