Traction

Well, tis been a while.

Tuesday my car fucked out. I ran out of gas first. Then when I got more gas it still wouldn't start. Thought I'd flooded the spark plugs so I left it for ages. Sarah L and her mum, Annie came and gave me a push around the corner (seeing as I was blocking a lane onto the Dinsdale round-about for over half an hour in rush hour traffic, no one offered to help me push the fucker, NO POWER STEERING + NO ENGINE POWER + TRYING TO PUSH AND STEER AT THE SAME TIME = IMPOSSIBLE.)

So after waiting a couple of hours it tried starting again, no luck. I ended up having to get it towed back to my house, for free I might add (State Insurance/AA Roadside Rescue ROCK!) The tow guy said that it was probibly the "Ignitor" (part of the electics in the ingnition system) seeing as I had no power going from my Distributor Cap, thats the thing that gives electricity to the spark plugs, hence making the engine go, to the sparkplugs. So the next day I got a replacment part and a repair manual from Repco.

The ignitor cost $260 and the manual cost $60, which left me feeling I really should go to work more often. Naughty me.

Anywho. Cars fixed. Did a little maintainance on the rest of the Distributor Cap and now my cars engine is alot more responsive when I boost it :p, great jollys, as well as it starting up on the first try. W00tahge.

Got a meeting with a dude barry that I had talked to last month, but due to a bad refur from a Douch plumbing he diddn't want to offer me a job. But seemed really pleased that I was still wanting to prove to him that Im not a waste in effort. Plan is to offer him a solid month of work experience for free, to prove how serious I am about getting a plumbing apprenticeship. I also have about 3 pages worth of shit I want to talk to him about. Why I think things went as they did at Douch plumbing and such.

More later. I need to go get some all unleashing sleepage.

PS: Sophie, you diddn't call me up whilst being a drunken bum for once. Dude, WTF?
