I need jumper cables for my brain. How am I supposed to go from sleep-inducing indulgence to reading "Keats's Ideal in the 'Ode on a Grecian Urn'"? Yes, it's fascinating and has to do with my subject, but that means it's also heavily abstract.
In unrelated news, I would like to advise everyone reading this to always read recipes carefully. Otherwise you, like me, might end up with twice as much pumpkin pie filling as you expected. You might bake 24 mini pies and three full-size pies before running out of pie shells and frantically googling for recipes (one box yellow cake mix plus 15 oz pumpkin puree or pumpkin pie filling, bake in muffin cups at 350 for about 20 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean--yummy). Your coworkers might end up nicknaming you pumpkin.
