Life's hard, you know. So strike a pose on a Cadillac.

I haven't really updated in quite a while and I don't feel like writing much, so this'll be quick.

• School is almost over. About 2 more weeks. I finished my thesis a few days ago. That paper was sucking the life out of me and I'm so glad it's over. I only have 1 more big project left and I just want this semester to end. At least I've learned how NOT to teach this semester. Summer classes start a few weeks into May so I'll have a bit of a break. I'm taking 2 classes at UMW and I also have to take a speech class at the community college to finish up my endorsement credits. Blah. Thinking of getting a summer job as well. We'll see.

• I have taken a lot of trips this semester. Back in March, Rogers and I went to the BVI with his family. It was a lot of fun. I probably could have done with fewer days of living on a boat and not having a decent shower, though. His mom made us all little photo books of the trip - super cute!

• Rogers and I also went to Lake Placid for a weekend in March. He was trying to cheer me up because I was so stressed out with school. It totally worked! We had such a good time. We stayed at a little bed and breakfast, went out to dinner, and went down the Olympic Bobsled run. It was the perfect weekend with him, and I'm so glad he arranged it.

• I went to Italy with my mom this month. We traveled through Naples and Rome. I never had much of a desire to go to Italy, especially since I'd already been to Milan, but my mom was all about it and I couldn't pass up the chance to go for free. Turns out, Rome is my favorite European city! It was GORGEOUSLY GORGEOUS and I want to live there no joke. There are ruins just chillin' all around the city, the food is delicious, the people are so nice, and the weather was beautiful. Naples... not so much. It's pretty much the Bronx of Italy, but seeing Pompeii and climbing Vesuvius were def highlights of the whole trip.

• Rogers is coming to visit on Friday. We're going down to Cville and staying at Mary's house. Going to Foxfields on Saturday. I am so excited to see Rogers again. I miss him like crazy. Just 8 more months before I move up to NY and I get to be with him 24/7!!! Oh and I guess I'm excited about seeing everyone else and wearing a sundress and blah blah blah. :]

• Other things going around here include: Mike moving out (THANK THE LORD), the kitchen being remodeled, me (semi) talking to Mark again, and finally hitting the 15lb mark in my quest to lose weight!

I have a billion errands to run today and I'm going to try to get some more work done on my final presentation. I kind of just want a day to take it easy. Guess I'll have to wait til May for that. I am def going to be living it up for those 2 weeks though! L8r sk8rs
