This weekend was sweet, man. Friday night I went to Kati and Brendan's housewarming party with Christa and Kevin and it was really really great. I met some really cool kids and hung out with some people I haven't seen in a very long time. Sufjan Stevens Christmas albums RULE. The only problem was that we missed Degrassi like, over and over and over again. Every half hour for hours we checked Noggin and D-graz was never on! We even checked the Noggin website. I've already read all the transcripts for every episode though so I guess it doesn't matter but it does anyway. Kati and Brendan have a lovely apartment and it looks wonderful so far, especially the entertainment center!!! Snapka rules and I'm super glad I brought my sunglasses!!! Christa and I played a sweet game of Who Would You Rather...? on the way home. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Saturday night was half Ladies Night and half Regular Night. We went shopping but not at the mall ha ha ha. After checking EVERY SINGLE HOTEL IN CRYSTAL LAKE (including the Crystal Lake Motel, but not very seriously) for vacancies, which there were none, we went back to Megan's and set up some tents and then the boys came over and we started a bonfire which very much ruled. Whoa little dude!
Today I went home and went to Ravinia to hear the CSO play Star Wars music. Star Wars rules, schmoozing drools.
I leave for school in 3 weeks, which is such a such a such a such a long time oh god I can't wait. Alpha and Omega!!!
I finished I Am Charlotte Simmons by Tom Wolfe and I liked it a lot and would highly recommend it, the ending was especially good and now I'm starting Collages by Anais Nin and it's very great so far.
So who's your favorite Civil War general?
