So, like, I was going to donate plasma for money for A-Kon and it would've been a great plan if not for the fact that it's not.
Not because I was too nervous to do it, or because I didn't pass the scanning or physical. No, I passed those with flying colors. What sucks?
Apparently, they can't find any veins in my arms that they can use for the needle. The kicker is that they use the same needles for plasma donations as they do for blood donations. I've donated blood three times since I turned seventeen; and the only reason that number isn't four is because once I didn't have high enough iron levels.
Bleh. So, yeah, I have to find some other way to get money for A-Kon. And before any one of you smart-aleck-y people is all "Get a job", I've been trying. It hasn't been working. With six weeks until A-Kon, anyway, I'd have to be, like, super-talented to get a job that would grant me a week off after just starting. I will be going to A-Kon though, even if I have to owe people money for the rest of my life. It's the one fun, crowded thing I go to a year.
