Any idea why some of these are challenged/banned? I know a few were challenged on grounds of racism, violence and/or sexual (s.k.a. religious) grounds, but some don't really make sense. I mean, we were forced to read Lord Of The Flies, To Kill A Mocking Bird and Brave New World in school; granted, it was high school, but even in elementary school we had a student teacher read us How To Eat Fried Worms as part of his approved curriculum.

Agreed. I've already read some of these... they aren't that "bad". Damn book burners...
