why hello there
it is extremely hot in my apartment. only one more week of dealing with the heat, since we move to our new place in playa del rey on sunday. it's a beautiful place, a few blocks from the ocean, and i'm really looking forward to riding my bike around the downtown area with all the little beach shops and bars. i'm also looking forward to decorating and making it feel homey. we'd like to stay here a few years until we buy a house, so i'm actually going to put forth some effort into making feel like ours.
my mom is coming to visit in august. not really sure how i feel about it. the timing is just all wrong. it's right before our anniversary, and i can't really take off or spend money while she's in town, because i need the time and money for our anniversary trip. arrrg.
anyway...the boy is great, my kitties are fantastic, and the job is satisfying.
