(no subject)
It's been an interesting week/weekend. I spent most of my loan, but I now have a desk and other useful bits, and a whole lot less debts to other people. Which is nice.
I also went out 3 nights in a row. Some of this is bulleted for your reading convenience:
* Bar Cava on Thurs night with Phil and Tony from work, tried Cherry flavoured tequila - only £1 a shot in there.
* Spent far to much money "Playing with Noel" - the quiz machine's Deal or No Deal.
* Work: New personal best - 7 in a week. Still off what they like you to get (which is 10), but I am a slow learner sometimes.
* Friday night involved too much wine at the Crown (£5 a bottle, it's just rude not too) over a very short period of time.
*Spent a time chatting up Mike, very lovely young man whom I think might like me
* But snogged Mark, a not so cute man who is a wee bit cheeky. We were standing outside the Crown with a spliff when somehow we were kissing. Whoops.
* So far only Debs, Mark and I know, so all not lost maybe?
* At the K my mood sunk v quickly as I realised I was v drunk and I shouldn't have snogged Mark. Got Jen to take me home and cried most of the way back and for an hour or so at home.
* I have since decided alcohol is evil and I will skip it for a while.
* Saturday: Chester Zoo with Jen's 'rents. Which is always good, even in the rather persistent rain.
* There's a job as a presenter going there at the moment so both J and I are applying for it. It'd be annoying if we both get interviewed, but not much one can do about that. It's a damn good job. Commuting would be the real pain though.
* At K again on Saturday night, dressed to the nines and ready to have fun.
* Pretty quiet to start off with and I was getting ready for a night of poi spinning, which basically means a boring night.
* But Boy B turned up ( remember him?) and was pretty pleased to see me. We were touchy feely and generally hung out. I didn't have any booze that night at all, so all in all it was good honest fun.
* Got to dance to NIN - Closer with a boy for the first time ever :D
* He came back to ours and fell asleep on the couch.
But I don't give up easily!
* Gave him a few hours (I slept too ...) and woke him up, telling him he'd be more comfy in my bed. We lay down and well, he got the hint.
YAY!
* Very embarrassed afterward as I heard Jen's music from her room Ooops.
* But she's ok with everything, which is damn well ace. She was gutted as she didn't get any herself, but doesn't hold that against me too much.
* Sunday: lazy day of morning then afternoon cuddles in bed :D :D :D
* Jen and I also decided to see Pirates of the Carribean too. I'd forgotten how fucking expensive a cinema trip can be!
But unfortunately, she's now not a happy bunny, things are getting her down. She had a good day today I think (it's her birthday) until she decided to throw up the alcohol she drank at the Swan. Now I think she's passed out on the bathroom floor. *checks* Yeah, passed out.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring ...
