I am back on the net! hahahahaahahhahaaaaaaaaa!

Graduation was fun. Mum and Dad picked me up from Liverpool on the hottest damn day of the year. I wore my grad ball dress for comfort and that was the best idea I had. Mum's shoes were not very comfy though - gave me blisters :(

The robes were cool, I enjoyed poncing about in them! Bloody hot though. We got there really early, so I wondered about waiting for 4 o'clock, wondering where all the people I knew were. Called Brad at about 3.30pm and he as still in town.
H: "You do realised we have to be there at 4 o'clock?"
B: "We do?"
H: "Yes."
B: "Fuck."

So he was in a "bit of a flap" according to his Mum. He also got given the wrong hood and was the other side of campus when he realised. Apparently a nice lady went back to George Fox to get him a new one. The Minor Hall, where we lined up, was above the Great Hall and horifically hot. We all felt like we were actually melting into the floor. Finally we went down to a fanfare of trumpets and very depressing organ music. I really excpected to see a coffin.

We all shook hands with the Chancellor and afterwards went with a great deal of relief outside again. Big college photo then my parents took lots of photos of me, which I will post when they send them.

Went out for dinner at Crows, which is a little Mexican-style restaurant with cool decor. I had a Chimmichanga, beans and cheese and veg wrapped up in a flour-based wrap. I think I just liked the name. Fee;ing pretty full after dinner so I wasn't sure if I was going to have desert, but they had icecream topped with baileys. Simple but GENUIS! That was amazing. Gotta make that at home.

Mum, Dad and I met Brad and Andy in 'Spoons for a drink. I had so summer fruits cider from Sweden which tasted like alcoholic fruit juice! Again, pure genius. Had a chat with the boys before we went to the hotel (a hotel which wasn't too bad but needed updating pretty badly) for a final drink and then to bed.

I was spoilt and it was ace. Had a really good time. As I thanked my parents Dad said "It's ok, you deserved it." And Mum said "You worked hard for it." Which left me all warm and fuzzy inside ...
