I might go for the bullets for a bit:
* Been busy with over-time at work, feel like I bloody live there! Need the money though, so not a lot of choice in the matter. Big case of SSDD (same shit, different day) but I still don't hate it!
* Rugby is going to be really going crazy soon - got a ten's tournament next weekend, then another match the following weekend and at the end of May is the 7's, which should be awesome. Got a big social next Saturday too - theme is red - which is very annoying being ginger n' all!
* Went away for a FANTASTIC weekend with Joo and Ra-chelle up to the Peak District. When I get the photos up on-line, I will describe it in more detail. But to sum up - we ate loads of awesome food, went to the home of the Bakewell Tart, sung our hearts out to Queen and saw lots of pretty countryside.
Last year ... involved a lot of drinking and pot ... (see
here and
here for an amusing pic)
But this year has been rather more sedated, even though Mum and Dad are in Belgium for the weekend!
Friday - went to work *snore* for 'til 2pm, then had a driving lesson with Kev in Mum's car. That sucked A LOT - that pink box with wheels is becoming my nemesis. Kew was surprised to see me cry - poor Darren (my "proper" instructor) has seen it all too many times.
Babysat Kev's kids on Friday night, which is always a pleasure.
Saturday - Went into Leighton, did some shopping - whoops - and had lunch with Kaye, which was really nice. She was pleased as she got out of painting the fence! I went home and finished Emma's cross-stitch present (very cute!)and made Easter cards. Rachel had rented The Prestige so we watched that, which was brilliant.
Sunday - a day of chores so far! Made brekkie and ate it outside. The weather is lush, we've been really lucky for once. But it's not really been an Easter to remember!
I'm off to the pub now, going to take my book and read in the sun with some cider I think.
Have a good one, whatever you are doing.
