Wish rules
I don't understand why people send me subpoenas at work at 1am. Do they seriously think I will be there? I think not. But never mind, not much I can do about it.
Despite that I'm very enthused with work again now that I have stuff to do. I'm still annoyed about the whole lack of promotion thing, but I'm trying not to think about it and it's easier now that I have stuff to do and don't feel useless.
Not much else to report really. Had lunch with my friend from work yesterday. We had to go to Parliament HOuse though to pick up something from the post office there, and then to ticketek, but I actually don't mind doing mundane stuff like that with my friend. There's some pig (which looks more like a wild boar to me) out the front of the Hospital near Parliament house that if you put money in and then rub it's nose you get to make a wish. My friend must have made the longest wish in history though, but then I was enlightened - apparently wishes can contain several parts like a), b) and c) if they are all related. I don't know why I wasn't informed of these wish rules earlier. Perhaps next time I'll try it, since I'm not having much luck with my nice and simple wishes :)
I have a conference at some stage today for this new subpoena. Most likely at lunch time damn it which will wreck any plans of lunch with my friend (not that there were any, but they tend to happen about half an hour before lunch). Never mind. All is good.
