lack of sleep

I am indeed both tired and sore today. The tiredness is for a good reason - oh Bernard - but the soreness is not.

I had to go to physio yesterday and physio guy now seems to think that I can stand on just my bad leg and squat a little bit. I don't think so sir. And to prove it my knee popped out twice within the space of 1 minute - well maybe 2 minutes. I made one attempt and it did it. You'd think that would have proved my point but he made me try again and funnily enough it popped out a second time. Why he needed this to happen twice is beyond me. He could have just taken my word for it that it's happened at home quite a bit recently when I try to do this. But apparently the words of wisdom I received were 'I'm not concerned about the pain, it's not that I don't care, I"m just not concerned, I just want you to do a little squat no matter how small.". I on the other hand am very concerned about the pain. Hmmph. Now I have to spend the week trying to attempt this stupid task despite the possibility of several pop-outs happening.

But on to happier things - Bernard was beautiful last night. Apparently he had to travel to Wollongong Uni yesterday for lunch (oh how I wish I had known and taken the day off work for a flex) and only got to play three songs. Poor lad. I hope someone there appreciated it. Anyway, he played quite a lot of his own stuff last night, as well as something from just about every family member he has. It was beautiful. And even "different drum" made an appearance. Then Louis Tillet came on. That man has got the biggest voice in the history of the world - well maybe not, but it's huge. I quite like Louis but towards the end they all started to sound a bit the same. We amused ourselves by trying to decide what songs Bern's and Louis would do brilliantly together

I put a spell on you
In the midnight hour
Anything by Wilson Picket

I found a love
The Percy Sledge song that Bern's does (not When a Man Loves a Woman)
I can't remember the rest of them now - damn we should have written them down.
Of course they played none of the songs on our list, but did some Louis Originals (I think).
And thus endeth this entry
