Credit card purchases

Last week I purchased online (using my credit card) an Australian Airlines model aircraft (retail value $30) from a marketing company (which shall remain nameless). As it happens they charged my credit card twice as their website has a flaw in the process it uses to manage transactions.

Hence when it showed on my account that the payment had been taken out twice I immediately contacted them telling them this and asking for them to reverse the payment and be in contact with me as soon as possible. A day later with no reply I emailed them again to which i recieved a prompt reply saying they had contacted their payment provider and were waiting for a reply from them on the situation.

That was last friday! Yesterday (wednesday), after 3 BUSINESS days of waiting I sent another email advising them that It had been a long time without any confirmation of ANYTHING and that I was about to be charged interest on my VISA card for a charge that should not have been made. I suggested that they should tell their payment provider to hurry up if they had not heard a reply.

Now i'm not stupid, i'm up with the play as far as online transactions are concerned.... they have TWICE the amount of money sitting in their account (both charged to the same credit card, and only one transaction in their database for those two charges)!!! The service i have recieved in this situation is SHIT. It is now 4 business days since I have recieved any contact from them!!! I have been courtious about everything I have said to them while emailing to this point.

They are an online marketing business, they have a lucrative contract with QANTAS of all people to sell merchandise and they cannot contact me for 4!!!! business days!!! Especially in a situation such as this! I can understand if it takes them a day or 2 at most to contact me but 4 days, bullshit!

If i don't get a reply in the next day i will be sending them a not so nice email regarding the matter mentioning the fact I will be contacting QANTAS HEAD OFFICE and complaining about this nameless marketing company they have dealing with their merchandise.

I am a Qantas frequent flyer and I am not going to put up with this SHIT! NO ONE should have to. THEY have my money and they are not entitled to it!!!! 4 Business days without contact is NOT GOOD ENOUGH WHEN YOU HAVE MY FRIGGEN MONEY!!!!
