*tv droolingness*
I have spent most of the day looking up information on LCD's and getting totally frustrated! All the LCD's in my price range were either not what i wanted.... or had no decent reviews for me to read about them. So basically to buy some of these would be a big stab in the dark where I could end up with a less than desirable tv.
Insert Rear Projection DLP TV. It's not the newest of technologies but it is extremely cheap for big tv's. I came accross a 42"! screen for $2299!!! Yes, that is friggen cheap in New Zealand. Why? Because it has a native resolution of 1280 x 720. (that of a particular HDTV format ;) ). Not only this it will connect up fine with my laptop (for big screen gaming or IM in bed when i want more than my lappies 15"), and it has HDMI connection for upcoming high definition HD-DVD, or Blue-ray movies :D
I have been drooling about this for the last hour wishing i could afford it, haha. It is $1000 over my budget though :( I'll see what i can do in the next month or so though, haha. later peeps.
