NYE: My Night
... Well again: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I did plan to just stay in for the night and get wrecked on my own with some nibbles, loads of drink and my phone to randomly text everyone HNY until I got a text from a friend asking would I like to go over to his so I did. It was abit of a nightmare in planning to get there with all the buses stopping at 6.30pm, no trains/trams near him and taxi's double charging (RIP OFF).
Dan had to get into work in town and so we both chipped in for the taxi fare so it wasn't to bad.
I walked into my friends flat and it seemed a few people were still getting ready for their night out - bless! One was off his face on pills and speed and was just funny, the other was trying to feel me up and the other was playing with his little puss puss! All nice guys. In the end there was Me, Zoey, Matt and his "kinda" boyf which was nice.
After the guys had left for town Matt gave me a pill and said "HNY".. I thought it rude not to accept it so I put it in my wallet and drunk myself stupid. Matt's boyfriend was completely wrecked after around 2-3 drinks and spent most of the night sitting in front of the toilet - Aww! I think it was around 11pm and I was pretty merry to say the least - totally loving Southern Comfort and Lemonade by the way!! I ended up taking the pill and welcoming in the New Year pretty much off my trolley - was great.
I think it was around 1am and my friend from Cardiff called and we chatted loads about our times together and how fun our New Year was together a couple of years back - we were boyfriends back then and it really did bring back alot of memories and feelings which is probably not the best thing but oh well.
Around 3am I called my friend in Canada (love ya Amanda) and I wished her HNY which was really nice. She was working - Aww... It must of been around 4am and I crashed out til around 7am when people started arriving back so I got up, chatted more crap and chilled out until I left at 10.20am.
I thought I knew the way from Ancoates (where I was staying) to town - DID I FUCK?! I ended up walking through 4 different part's of Manchester before I had to give in and admit I was lost. I managed to find Oxford Street Station and get the train home! Woooh!
Most of the day then was spent chilling, texting and sleeping!! All in all it was an amazing time.... and the start of a fantastic year I hope. :)
I will be listing my 2005 NYResolutions and my 2006 NYResolutions shortly... so watch this space!
