Money Madness..
Well the past few days in work have been pretty crappy to be honest. It's been busy and as of 4th December Royal Mail cut down on the junk mail because of all the cards which are sent. Pretty sensible really if you ask me?! On Thursday I was having a terrible day - I had 6 bags of mail, all full to the brim and I really hated my job at that point. It was also raining which didn't really help matters. As I was walking down Swinton Park Road... I noticed on the floor a £10 note... It was absolutely soaked right through so I picked it up, looked around and stuck it in my post bag! MARVELLOUS! :) That perked my day up no end.. lol
Thursday night Dan came over and stayed the night, that was good. It was like old times... talking, drinking hot chocolate and watching TV. Thursday night Dan2 came back from Portugal so I was pretty excited to find out how his first holiday was.
Friday.. I met up with Dan2, we went shopping and caught up on the goss. He loved Portugal and would happily go back again.. so I think next year when we plan a group holiday that's where we will be going. While shopping... can you believe it, I found some more money. Only a £1 but still, it paid for half the taxi back to mine with all the shopping! lol :)
Today work was really busy but with it raining so much I literally ran around and didn't mess about. I finished dead early and decided to walk back home. I didn't find money but I did get myself some gorgeous chips and pasty - Mmm!
Tonight.. I had been invited out but decided to stay in with 2 bottles of wine and a curry! Was gorgeous. :)
