Family Fun!
So far my time here in Wales has been fantastic. I've really enjoying spending time with my family and friends. I still have 3 days to go and you know, i'm really really going to miss the place. Yesterday I went deep into the Vallies to the town I grew up in - Pontllanfraith (don't try and say it, it's Welsh!) and I just couldn't believe how developed the whole area has become. New bridges, stores, homes and roads are just the beginning... I was lost in the town I grew up in. Very shocked!
Me, My Nan and Aunty all went and did some food shopping which was nice - I really missed our Thursday shops even though I did have to carry all the shopping in!!! haha I have taken loads of pictures and will upload when home.
After my visit to my Nan's I came back to my Mum's and changed so I could meet my friend for a meal. It was great! We had a gorgeous chinese (mmm mmmm) and watched a gay film called Latter Days. It was brilliant and very heart warming. I'm a sucker for soppy films and this one certainly made me cry. I've already been online this morning and ordered it off of ebay!! lol
On checking through my email account... I came across an email from Skype, I won a prize!! I had no idea i'd even entered but I won a Plantronics Headset! It's a fantastic prize and so unexpected so woo me! lol
Today I am taking my Brother and Sister and maybe my Mum swimming... It's a nice family thing to do and it's indoors which is great. The weather down here is very cold right now so anytime in doors is good!! Then this afternoon I am going to Cardiff to see my good friend Vicky for several drinks, maybe some food and a good old chat! I can't wait.
